Simple guide: using the web
This guide is written in clear language. Use it as a checklist.
1) Start with one goal
Example: “I want to find a phone number” or “I want to order food”. One goal keeps it calm.
2) Use short search words
Try 2–5 words. Example: bus timetable Boxtel or easy pasta recipe.
3) Open official sources when it matters
For health, money, or government information, prefer official websites.
4) If a site is hard to read
- Press A+ to make text bigger
- Press ⚡ for high contrast
- Press 🔊 to read the page aloud
5) Stay safe
- Do not share passwords in emails or pop‑ups
- When paying online, check if the website address starts with https
- If something feels wrong: close the tab and ask someone you trust
